RED Day End of Summer Virtual Celebration

Wednesday, August 12, 2020

Join us for a virtual celebration! RED Day is a reminder to people of all ages to Read Every Day. Through this event, we want to encourage our community to keep reading while celebrating the groundbreaking summer we had.

The virtual RED Day End of the Summer Celebration will take place 6:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12. This event is a celebration of the great summer the West Fargo Public Library and the Little Red Reading Bus of West Fargo have had together!

The celebration will include a short storytime, a special reading from West Fargo fourth-grader Braelynn Brown, a proclamation from Mayor Bernie Dardis, and cooperative craft and reading activities.

While the event is free and open to the public, interested patrons must register to participate by 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10. The first 40 families will have a celebration kit reserved at the library in their name. Each kit includes materials for each child to participate in the live craft activity and each family will receive a copy of the book to follow along in during the live reading portion of the event.
